Google releases panoramic images of Indian heritage sites



*Google Uses STREET VIEW TREKKER TO CAPTURE INDIAN HERITAGE SITES*

Google and ASI partnered last year, currently released images of 30 Indian Heritage sites on Google View through Street View, so it is easy to get details regarding Taj Mahal, Humayun’s Tomb, Agra Fort and many more to explore the heritage site by Indians and tourists in easy way.




The same was done in October last year through ASI and California based Technology firm to capture the 100 Indian heritage sites using same SVT, having a backpack mounted camera.

The street view trekker capable to capture a 360 degree view, consist 15 cameras capturing pictures automatically after every 2.5seconds. It is used by Google for several variants such as rivers and Mountain View.


Such advanced technology help users to view the rich Indian heritage, culture that is invisible to everyone because of various constraints. 


Such images of Heritage sites let peoples know them from the closest point along with helping to analyze them how they change every year.





Exploring the Indian Heritage, Culture through such Google technology led Indian museums like National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi to get a green online signal using street view on trolleys.


According to the Cultural Minister,Chandresh Kumari Katoch”, such new panoramic image of Indian heritage sites aims to show the dynamic, Incredible India towards International community.
